Impetus for tomorrow's mobility: International lecture series at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt

The Technical University of Ingolstadt (THI) is once again offering its international lecture series on electromobility in the winter semester, for the ninth time. The series is organised by C-ECOS (CARISSMA) and supervised by Professor Dr. Hans-Georg Schweiger and Dr. Yash Kotak. Topics range from accident forensics to battery concepts and charging infrastructures to current research projects. The lectures will take place from the 14th of October, every Tuesday at 6 p.m., and will be broadcast live in English via Microsoft Teams.

Electromobility and research at THI – the focus is on safety, innovation, and sustainable technologies (symbolic image: Chat GPT).

How are safe and sustainable vehicle technologies for the mobility of the future developed? What role do testing and inspection organisations play in the introduction of new drive systems? And how do science and industry work together to successfully bring new technologies onto the road?

Answers to these and other questions will be provided by the THI's international lecture series on electromobility. Each presentation will last around 30 minutes and will be followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion. The events will be broadcast live in English via Microsoft Teams and are aimed at students, industry professionals, and anyone interested in mobility.

Markus Gregor will kick things off on the 14th of October with a lecture on the role of testing and inspection organisations in the safe introduction of new vehicle technologies. He will be followed on 21 October by Daniel Koch, who will present the European research project MARBEL, which is developing modular battery systems for sustainable electric mobility.
