Our aim is to promote innovative technologies and integrate them into a dynamic innovation ecosystem with start-ups and established companies. At the Manching Technology Transfer Center (TTZ), we rely on strong partnerships to drive innovation forward. At our centre, scientists work together with companies and research institutions on pioneering research projects in the field of civil and military unmanned aviation. The focus here is on developing application expertise in the fields of intelligent control and coordination of UAV swarms, human-machine interaction and the development of new concepts for unmanned aerial systems. In particular, cooperation with the aviation industry, Fraunhofer and the brigkAir start-up centre is helping the district of Pfaffenhofen to develop into a strong location for innovation. The participation of the municipality of Manching in the technology transfer centre and the cooperation with Airbus D/S are important prerequisites for the investment of the Free State of Bavaria in the TTZ Manching.
