Course offerings at the Language Center and self-study options

No matter which language – the Language Center is pleased to welcome all students. In addition to the mandatory subjects you take as part of your degree course, you can also sign up for various language courses as electives or additional qualifications (higher education certificate). In order to ensure a consistently high standard on our language courses, they are taught almost exclusively by native speakers – currently in English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Russia, Portuguese and also German as a foreign language. German sign language is also on offer for anybody interested in a different kind of communication. To complete our programme we also offer courses teaching intercultural skills – in keeping with our motto:

"Our mission is to develop communication skills for future professionals in a culturally diverse global environment.”
