Continuation of the co-operation agreement for the Ingolstadt Start-up Prize (GPI)

The Ingolstadt Start-up Prize (GPI) is entering a new round. As part of the #starTen initiative in the region, the ceremonial launch of the 15th round of the competition took place on the 28th of October 2025 at the Ingolstadt Start-up Centre. At the same time, the new cooperation agreement for rounds 16 to 20 was signed in the presence of all network partners and those interested in founding a company, ensuring the long-term continuation of the successful start-up support programme in the region.

In recent years, the Ingolstadt Founder Award has become a permanent fixture in the regional start-up scene. The competition aims to promote founders and company successors and to sustainably strengthen the economic development of the Ingolstadt region. Participants benefit from professional support, coaching offers, a strong network, and attractive prize money. The application deadline for the current round is the 31st of March 2025.

With the signing of the new cooperation agreement, the partners confirmed their joint commitment for the coming years. As before, the institutions involved include Digitale Gründerzentrum der Region Ingolstadt GmbH - brigk, IFG Ingolstadt AöR, Sparkasse Ingolstadt Eichstätt, and Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI). The three districts KUS Landkreis Pfaffenhofen a. d. Ilm, Landkreis Eichstätt, and Landkreis Neuburg-Schrobenhausen are now also new members from round 16. When the districts join the co-operation agreement, the name will change to Gründerpreis Region Ingolstadt (GPI) from round 16.
