The office advises and supports the university board, faculties and organisational units in marketing and press activities and communication.

It plans and organises the university's internal and external communication through various channels

  • University communication: Support of the university board and the organisational units in external and internal communication, marketing and events
  • Press and public relations work: preparation of press releases, strategic development of the university's public relations work, conception, organisation and implementation of publications for public relations work
  • University internal communication: Conception and implementation of the university's internal communication concept
  • Marketing: Advising the university board as well as the central and decentralised institutions and faculties on marketing issues and the implementation of measures
  • Update and maintenance of web portals
  • Conception and coordination of agencies during the creation of films
  • Creation of videos
  • Coordination and maintenance of information screens
  • Organisation and management of marketing meetings
  • Photography and coordination of photo shootings for professional pictures and
  • Picture research
  • Creation of marketing texts
  • Supervision of merchandising
  • Creation of flyers, posters, signage and other high-profile products
  • Supervision of the publication of scientific Working Papers
  • Branding: Establishing and maintaining the THI brand
  • Internet: Central maintenance, further development and expansion of the website, support for decentralised units
  • Social Media: Regular maintenance of the university's central social media channels
